Identity / Branding
Pellerin Multimedia: PMI creates incredible making-of pieces for DVDs, and is the sole provider for Peter Jackson's discs. Michael Pellerin wanted to communicate a glimpse into the inner workings of filmmaking, and evoke a sense of time travel. So, vintage clocks and time machines became the inspiration. Thought Nozzle created the animated version for use on the PMI website, and used as the model for the CGI version on the DVDs.
Abbott Laboratories: Commissioned by the Abbott Labs Structural Chemistry Department. Along with the Abbott "a", this iconic logo includes references to chemical ball-and-stick models, along with the nature of the department's mission: to analyze substances and determine their exact compositions.

The Campbell Agency: As part of a complete rebranding effort, we redesigned the identity system we'd originally created for the talent and modelling agency back in the early 1990s, modernizing the feel and raising the agency's profile. The agency reports great positive reaction to the rebranding, along with a complete redesign of the website.
The Arts District Citizen:Logo for the new Arts District newspaper, for which we served as the founding Art Director. The symbol on the right is the hazardous materials sign you see on Arts District lofts; the "A" lets firefighters know that crazy artists live and work inside, surrounded by all kinds of flammable and aromatic stuff.
Infinite Builders:Naming and branding consultation and identity design for the construction firm, which wanted to create an image of long-lasting crafstmanship. As part of the branding, we created the tagline, "An enduring commitment to quality."
Community: For the NBC series, we created the logotype and Mr. Leer for the Hot & Brown coffee bar. The name of the font in the tagline? Coffee Service.
WestTech Studios: A small recording studio was looking for a strong identity, so we gave them this one, including an animated version with sound design for their website, also by Thought Nozzle.
The Closer: Logo design for a fictional news station in the series.
CHUCK: For the store across the shopping center from the Buy More in the NBC series.

Brothers & Sisters: San Estephe, an upscale restaurant appearing in the ABC series.
