Thought Nozzle provides web design and hosting to a small number of entertainment industry clients for whom quality, immersive site design, reliable functionality and intimate, engaging content are high priorities. We also like clients who are fun at parties... especially the kind where people wear funny hats and sing selections from Frank Sinatra's albums (the Capitol years, please. "One for My Baby" comes to mind).

Client: Colette Ching, Realtor
Colette wanted a distinctive website that separated her from rest of the highly-competitive real estate market. We created a site that leverages her existing identity elements, and gives visitors information about Colette's services, along with a glimpse into Colette's life as a resident and real estate agent on the Los Angeles Westside. The front page features a 3-part Flash animation that includes sound that was recorded on location on the beach in Santa Monica: a volleyball game, a scene from a playground, and seagulls and surf from the shore... all glimpsed through the "window" that holds her logo. Colette has said, "I love my site. It's the best thing I ever did." |

Client: The O.C.
This one-page site doesn't exist in the real world... only in the televised world of The O.C. The show's propmaster asked us to create a website for playback — one that's seen on a computer monitor during a scene. They gave us the name of a fictitious organization, "GEORGE", which fights global warming. Thought Nozzle did identity design, web interface design, and even designed the t-shirts that are hyped on the page. One member of the crew is reported to have said, "Wow... That looks real." — a high compliment. GEORGE is one of a series of sites we've designed for several network shows. |
