About
Quite an epic tale, isn't it?
a brief history

Thought Nozzle principal Bob West has been providing creative services to the advertising, television and film production industries, and to independent businesses and professionals for more than thirty years.

Earning a Bachelor's in Art, Bob graduated with honors from Trinity University in San Antonio. His first gig (not counting the singing telegram work) was serving as art director and camera operator for a commercial production company. Simultaneously launching a parallel career in voice over, Bob became the go-to guy in the market for sharp comedy dialog and chameleon-like character work. Adding experience in copy writing and direction for radio and television commercial production, Bob rounded out his repertoire with a stint in community relations, and continued his work in freelance creative direction, graphic design, and copy writing.

In 1995, Bob began providing web design services, building sites for feature films as well as film and entertainment industry professionals and artists.

Over the last 10 years, Bob has increased his work in web design, and in graphic design for feature film and network television. Feature film clients include "Desperate Measures" starring Harrison Ford and Brendan Fraser; "Black Dynamite"; Fox's "Down With Love"; and MGM's "Be Cool", the sequel to "Get Shorty."

By popular demand, Bob's particular creative skills have increasingly been put to work in company, product and service naming, in branding and positioning strategies, and in social media marketing. At the same time, infographic-style collateral design and book cover design have become a growing segment of the Thought Nozzle creative bailiwick. (We love that word, don't you?)

Bob has also renewed his commitment to fine art, producing a new series of abstract paintings and minimalist drawings.

Projects in the wings include a series of e-books and an entertainment industry web site that will result in global domination of the market niche. Seriously. We wouldn't joke about global domination.
